== Resisting Spells ==
The skill Resisting Spells, or commonly referred to as Magic Resist gives you a chance to resist enemy spells and a chance at reducing spell damage received. It does not prevent direct-damage spells such as [[Energy Bolt]] and [[Flamestrike]].

You cannot gain Resisting Spells skill if the caster is within the guard zone limits. If the caster is outside guard zone limits and casts an offensive spell on someone in guard zone, that person can then gain Resisting Spells skill. For more information, see Training below.

The [[White Wyrm]] method consists of having a group of healers, and a stack of white wyrms on a boat outside guard zone limits while you stand in guard zone. You will also want to stand far away from any NPCs so you are not guardwacked.

* 55 - 100.0 use White Wyrms

After 55 Resisting Spells, you will throw a purple pot to have the stack of white wyrms attack you from the boat. It is important that when you begin that your healers are ready to keep you healed. Once the white wyrms have exhausted their mana, you will want to hide yourself so they can begin recover. It is recommended to use [[Power Hour]] when doing this to maximize your skill gain.
